Wild Horses offers a twenty-four
hour Land Rover rescue and pick-up service for the safety
and convenience of the visitors who come to enjoy the island’s
stunning countryside and extreme sports activities. This
unique hire service is available to walkers and their dogs;
cyclists and their bikes; surfers and their boards and
any other fresh air activity. This robust vehicle can carry
up to four passengers and comes with the advantage of a
heavy duty roof rack, a massive waterproof space in the
back, waterproof covered seats and a licence to tow.
Take
the number of Wild Horses with you just in case you get
lost, stranded, injured or run out of energy, especially
if you’ve got young kids; then you’re a phone
call away from a safe journey back to your accommodation.
We can also rescue wind surfers, kite surfers or paragliders
if you end away from where you started.
As well as emergencies, Wild Horses can be booked in advance,
for instance collections from the ferry, luggage transfers,
taking you to the start or from the end of a linear walk
etc. Wild Horses also runs a service through the day and
night for emergency call outs, taking sick or injured animals
(especially those on holiday) to the vets or for appointments.
Where byways are open, Wild Horses can take you across
the top of the Downs to show the island at its best. This
can be particularly useful for those who are unable to
climb the hills, or those with young children.
