CREATING ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT

Creating on the Isle of WightOver the years the Island has been the destination and residence of choice for some of the countries leading artists. To build on the back of this we have been working with the Isle of Wight Arts unit and Green Island members the Quay Arts Centre to offer a range of Arts Breaks to visitors to the Island.

The concept has been to put together an exciting new range of creative weekend breaks, providing a rare opportunity to visit a lovely part of the English countryside and to learn from inspiring professional artists.

As a part of the experience you will benefit from: Working in a small group with personal tuition and guidance from an experienced artist. Spending two full days learning and developing new art and craft techniques. Enjoying being in a specialist venue set in attractive rural surroundings and having free time to relax, unwind and explore the area.

This year's breaks include Photography with Dimbola Lodge Photographic Museum, Mosaic Making at Brading Roman Villa, Basket Making at Ventnor Botanic Garden and the 'Journey' at the Quay Arts Centre. All of the locations are also members of the Green Island Awards Scheme.

See our dedicated website: www.islecreate.co.uk for further details.
