THE AWARD WINNERS IN 2006

Since we launched the Green Island Project way back in 2002 we have held an annual awards ceremony to highlight the businesses that are really leading the way in terms of environmental management and promotion of the Green Island vision.

For our first ceremony we were crammed into the seminar room down at Ventnor Botanic Garden, 2004 saw us move up to the Quay Arts Theatre, 2005 we got a little more experimental and held the event at Brading Roman Villa and 2006 we took over Cowes Yacht Haven and added a full sit-down meal, live music and drinks till the early hours! For 2007 we are back at the Yacht Haven as it is now the only venue that can accommodate the scale of the event. See the Green Island Awards gallery for pics from over the years!
