just ten well-equipped 2 or 3 bedroom caravans set within
3.5 acres of garden; children can play safely while older
guests have space to relax. Located 2.5 miles from Yarmouth,
Silver Glades is ideal for visiting the island's attractions
or local beauty spots.
This caravan park has 3½ acres of attractive gardens
and woodland which are available for the use of guests.
The site reception building includes a display of tourist
information, a lending library of books and jigsaws plus
a selection of wet weather games. Dogs are permitted (condition
apply).
Recycling facilities are provided and guests are
encouraged to separate refuse and wherever possible,
and products used at Silver Glades are environmentally-friendly
(including cleaning products). Efforts have been made
through developing wildlife habitats and providing food
supplies to encourage as much wildlife as possible and
the woodland floor is managed so that guests can wander
through the woods where in the spring wild woodland flowers
cover the ground.
