ISLE OF WIGHT BUSES

Bus travel on the Isle of WightOne of the easiest ways to see the Island is by bus, there is a comprehensive and accessible network covering all four corners of the Island. This includes the 'Island Explorer' route that travels all the way around the Island's coast and can be picked up at any point at hourly intervals during the peak season, this is one of the best ways to take in the Island's dramatic coastline and key attractions.

During the summer months Southern Vectis runs three open top bus tours covering the following routes, The Downs Tour, The Needles Tour and the Sandown Bay Tour. The Needles Tour is probably the most breathtaking as the trip includes being driven all the way to the Needles up the side of the Downs!

Southern Vectis offers a range of 'Rover' tickets that allow unlimited travel between set dates for a one-off fee. They give unlimited travel for 1 day, 2 days, 7 days or 28 days on almost all Southern Vectis Buses or Island Line Trains and at the same time save you money. Joint tickets are also available in conjunction with Wightlink and Red Funnel ferry companies, Hovertravel, Island Line and other mainland bus companies. Please call the enquiry helpline for further details on 01983 532373.
