BRADING STATION
Brading Town Council have
managed to turn what was once a derelict and neglected
building into a little gem that Brading can be proud
of. The heritage centre not only holds a local railway
history exhibition and a wide range of walking and
island guides, but also runs its own café,
offering thirsty travellers a much needed brew (Fair
Trade). The shop sells island walks books and locally
produced pictures, as well as heritage and railway
items.
Cycle hire is available from the station
(from Island Pedal & Power), so you can hop on
the ferry, hop on the train and then hop on a bike
to enjoy some of the best scenery in the East Wight.
The centre is an ideal starting point for any visitor
to Brading, no mater how you arrive.
