Arreton Barns Craft Village
and Dairyman’s Daughter is a must-go place
for most holidaymakers. The craft village is host
to a variety of on-site crafts men and women, including
glass blowers, pottery makers and wood turners. It’s
not often you can watch your gift being made in front
of your eyes and have the chance to talk to the people
making them.
The Dairyman’s daughter provides
a good menu, homemade cakes as well as making you feel
that you are ‘down the local’ with live
music and local ales. The landlord does sometimes bring
the vast collection of squeeze boxes to life. The adjacent
12th Century Church and medieval carp pond provides
space for quiet reflection.
