COTTAGES, CONVERTED BARNS AND HIDEAWAY ACCOMMODATION
Due to the rise in demand for rural
based self-catering on the Isle of Wight we have now added
a specific section dedicated to cottages, converted barns
and hideaways. Businesses included here are located in
the remoter areas of the Island, many deep within the Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and offer a great
place to relax and unwind during your break from the rat
race. It was these locations that made the Isle of Wight
the popular destination it is today with the likes of Tennyson,
Keats, Cameron, Swinburne, Carroll and Priestly all taking
up residence in these rural locations during the Victorian
era.
