HAMBLEDON HOTEL
The Hambledon Hotel is a family run hotel and provides
the perfect holiday setting. In a central location, near
to the Old Village, cliff walk, town centre, chine and
sandy beaches, the hotel is the ideal centre from which
to explore Shanklin and the rest of the island.
Everyone who stays at the Hambledon Hotel is able to access
free entry to the local leisure centre. All food is cooked
fresh on the day it is served and wherever possible using
local produce and seasonal vegetables. The hotel is non-smoking
throughout and offers short breaks as well as family accommodation.
The hotel runs Step by Step Walking Holidays that offer
a blend of the Island's finest, most exhilarating walks
(both guided and unescorted), combined with the
hotel's quality accommodation. There are several trails
to choose from, from the 6 day (72 mile) coastal path to
a small selection of gentle rambles, which include some
of the Island's most beautiful and historic trails. (up
to 10 miles per day)
The walking holiday packages include transport to and
from walk locations and local knowledge, maps and guides
for the Isle of Wight's finest walks. A local walk
leader can provide added interest and a wealth of local
knowledge for the trek.
