Gotten Manor is situated at the
foot of St Catherine's Down and offers a range of self
catering and B&B accommodation.The Manor is made
up of 2 houses - the older house (The Old House) is one
of the few and probably oldest first floor houses on
the Isle of Wight.
B&B accommodation is available in
the Old House (a self-contained annexe), which has a choice
of two bedrooms, both traditionally decorated with lime
wash walls and wooden floors, and both have a huge cast
iron bath within the bedroom. Home made jams, marmalades,
organic and local products make an appearance at breakfast!
The self catering accommodation is located
in The Cart House and The Milk House, both 200 year old
converted stone barns, the former offering two, two bedroom
cottages and the latter a very comfortable 3 bedroom holiday
home. All the cottages are traditionally decorated with
lime washed walls and every effort has been made to make
them as ecologically acceptable as possible.
