BESTIVAL
: 7th - 9th September 2007
 Organised by Radio One DJ Rob Da Bank, this three-day
boutique alternative music event in the leafy setting
of Robin Hill Country Park is the best way to round
off the summer festival season.
Last year's headliners included the Pet Shop Boys
and Scissor Sisters, but elsewhere there was lots of
leftfield dance, electronica, folk, ambient, pop and
much more, all done with a fancy-dressed, twentysomething
silliness of spirit.
When asked "What's the best Saturday
night out you've ever had?" Sarah Cox, presenter of
Radio 1 weekend show replied "At Bestival on the Isle
of Wight... it
was a really small festival, the Magic Numbers were
playing... It was a really lovely vibe."
