DEAN FARM HOLIDAYS

Nestled in the hillside above Whitwell near to the stunning South coast of the island, The East Wing of Dean Farm offers spacious, high quality accommodation for 6 persons. This traditional stone-built farmhouse, with many original features such as flagstone floors and exposed beams, dates back to 1702 and is situated on a 400 acre working farm. This is an ideal location to explore the South of the island, the view from the top of the famous undercliff being within easy walking distance.

Whitwell takes its name from the White Well, a place of pilgrimage during mediaeval times. The well can still be seen down a track opposite the church. From the end of the nineteenth century until 1952 the IOW central railway ran through Whitwell, which had it's own station. Fantastic swimming beaches such as Ventnor and Steep Hill Cove are also nearby. Local pubs offer excellent menus and are family friendly and Niton provides a grocery store, post office, chemist and butchers selling locals meats and fresh fish

Accommodation includes 3 bedrooms, (including master room with king sized bed), TV / DVD player, well equipped kitchen, bath with shower and separate WC. A welcome ‘hamper’ is left for guests as they arrive that includes local butter, milk and sausages
