COMPTON FARM

Compton Farm offers a truly rural holiday. Located on National Trust land, you can see the working farm with its free-range hens, ducks and single suckler cows. A true nature lovers place, this stunning site sitting in the folds of Brook Down with its wealth of flora and fauna is a great place to get away from it all, with Compton Bay beach ¼ mile away.

The farm and surrounding land is managed for wildlife as well as preservation of the buildings. There is a clear commitment towards the environment and sustainable practices and with over a century of experience between them on traditional farm working and preservation of the countryside, the proprietors hope to educate their guests on farming and wildlife, actively encouraging them to take part in routines and activities

The site has a mixture of caravans and camping pitches (38 in total). In addition to the toilet and shower block, there is the notorious ‘two-holer’ toilet. (you have to see it to believe it!). With the rolling hills on your doorstep, this is an ideal base for walkers and nature lovers alike. Dogs are welcome (subject to pre-arrangement).
