Atherfield Bay offers something
for everyone with a variety of accommodation. With self
catering, B&B,
half board and camping facilities, Atherfield Bay is an
ideal spot for a family seaside holiday. Close to the beach,
with ample opportunities for swimming, beach combing fossil
hunting, fishing or just relaxing. The site boasts an open
air swimming pool, private access to the adjacent beach,
tennis courts, plenty of space for outdoor sports and a
variety of indoor games for rainy days.
Compton Bay lies within a five minute drive or a longer
coastal walk and is perfect for swimming, surfing, kite-surfing,
wind surfing, kite flying, surf canoeing and body boarding.
This area of the Wight is ideal walking and cycling country.
A drying room and secure cycle storage are provided. The
on-site restaurant offers a full English breakfast or simply
cereals and fresh fruit are all available. Packed lunches
can be provided if required. Evening meals are served in
the Driftwood Restaurant and are available to all guests
on a pre-booking arrangement.
Bed & breakfast rooms are en-suite with either a shower
or a bath. Newly refurbished self catering chalets offer
a fully equipped kitchen and lounge with a sofa, colour
TV and stereo. The private decking area enables gusts to
enjoy the breathe taking views along the back of the Wight.
Visiting campers and caravaners have a designated camping
area with washing up facilities and a toilet / shower block.
A fridge-freezer is available.
